A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF ALAN MENKEN
2018
Directed IMAG, operated video switcher, and set up projectors in the de Jong Concert Hall when "A Whole New World of Alan Menken" came to BYU. Happy to report his team was well pleased.

BYU Theatre Streaming
2020
"The existence of that show strikes me as a miracle. The actors' performances were stitched together live from their homes so seamlessly that it took me an hour to realize they might not be in the same room. And this show wasn't just a Brady Bunch style Zoom meeting either -- the video windows moved, merged and transformed during the performance. And it was all done live. Amazing."

The team spanned 4 different states; director on the east coast, graphic designer in Idaho, stage manager in Arizona, sound designer in Salt Lake City, Utah and control room at BYU in Provo, along with cast members in surrounding Utah Valley area.

"MAIS QUE NADA" PROJECTION
2018
Final project for my After Effects course, where I designed a background that could be projected behind a performance to the Brazilian song, "Mais Que Nada."

2018
Programming QLab for BYU's annual Homecoming Spectacular! featuring Grammy Award-winning and multiplatinum-selling singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat joined by singer-songwriter David Archuleta.
This project contained 4 LED screens, 695 individual cues, and 72 files of amazing video content made by Justin Hemsley. See photo descriptions for more details!

BYU HOMECOMING SPECTACULAR!
2019
Programming QLab again for BYU's annual Homecoming Spectacular! featuring Hit-making Nashville-based singer-songwriter Ben Rector along with prolific LDS-Christian crossover artist Hilary Weeks.The project contained click tracks and sweetener tracks in addition to standard stereo tracks, all routed separately. The project totaled 1,778 programmed cues in the end. See photo descriptions for more details!

With the cancelation of the 2020 production of BYU Homecoming Spectacular!, I took advantage of Disguise's generous discounts to recreate the 2019 production in Disguise Designer. As one of the most in-demand video server platforms today, I was glad to finally be able to learn this awesome product.
