Sound Design and Engineering
BYU HOMECOMING SPECTACULAR!
Programming QLab again for BYU's annual Homecoming Spectacular! featuring Hit-making Nashville-based singer-songwriter Ben Rector along with prolific LDS-Christian crossover artist Hilary Weeks.
The project contained click tracks and sweetener tracks in addition to standard stereo tracks, all routed separately. The project totaled 1,778 programmed cues in the end. See photo descriptions for more details!
FLY MORE THAN YOU FALL
Winner of 9 BroadwayWorld Salt Lake City Awards, "Fly More Than You Fall" originally premiered at the new Noorda Center for Performing Arts in Utah. Mixing the 20 cast members and 16-input band for the incredible music written by Nat Zegree and Eric Holmes was a genuine privilege. Sound design by Jackie Barrett was a great asset to the production, and it was a pleasure working with her.
HALE CENTRE THEATRE
Mixing audio for theatrical performances and corporate events. In the first year of their new building, Hale Centre Theatre produced 10 shows with 848 performances, and over 500,000 patrons attending. Running both the audio console and QLab, I've worked the productions "Wait Until Dark," and "The Wizard of Oz."
BYU HOMECOMING SPECTACULAR!
Programming QLab for BYU's annual Homecoming Spectacular! featuring Grammy Award-winning and multiplatinum-selling singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat joined by singer-songwriter David Archuleta.

Mixing and monitor engineering in venues across Utah, including the Salt Palace Convention Center, the Dejoria Center in Kamas, Deer Valley Park City, and Zion's Bank Stadium.
BYU YOUNG AMBASSADORS
Spent 4 years mixing wireless vocal mics for a cast of 20 MDT performers on tours to Arizona, California, Brazil, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Listen below to some of my live mixes for this group.
BYU'S INTO THE WOODS
As the A1 audio engineer for this project, I was responsible for realizing the sound designer's vision, which included mixing 24 wireless mics,12 tracks from QLab, and programming over 100 automated scenes using MTC triggers. One reviewer called it "perhaps the best experience with a taped accompaniment I have ever had"
BYU INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLE
Mixing 7 piece folk band "Mountain Strings" for a year on tour in 2013, and later in 2018.
I also mixed the folk dance departments annual Christmas show in the BYU Marriott Center for 3 years in a row with up to 48 inputs. Listen below to some of my live mixes for this group.
BYU THEATER DEPARTMENT
In addition to mixing Into the Woods, I also mixed Broadway Revue, senior recitals, and summer youth camp productions. I also designed audio for shows including Beauty and the Beast, Argonautika, Happysadness, and The Selfish Giant. Listen below to some of the live mixes I've done for these groups, or listen to sound effects and music I've produced for these productions.
I've worked on many different events on BYU campus, ranging from athletics, and concerts to campus forums and devotionals. I've mixed audio for artists including JTM, The Strike, and Foreign Figures, and monitor engineered for artists like HelloGoodbye, Frank Wildhorn, and Ashley Brown. The variety of opportunities was incredible, and I made sure to be involved in them. Listen below to some of my live mixes for some of these groups.
YOUNG LIVING DIGITAL TICKET AND FACEBOOK LIVE
Mixed the audio with Metcom and Digital Bytes for online streaming broadcast at the Young Living annual convention. This included dozens of short segments for Facebook, and 4 nightly recaps lasting about an hour or so each. Watch one of the short Facebook segments here from Lindsey Elmore's Facebook page.
In addition to Pro Tools, I've had experience working with QLab (Audio, Projections, OSC, MIDI, Script Cues) Dante Controller, Shure Wireless Workbench, Vectorworks, d&b Array Calc, Meyer CueStation, and Adobe Audition.
